Hello!

We are the new owners of The Collab Store – Sheila, Brendon and our son, Benjamin. We are a local family, passionate about showcasing local home-based and small businesses, hand-makers, artists and creators. We aim to offer you only the best products and service on your every visit, inquiry and purchase.

The Collab Store is the Hunter Valley’s very own brick and mortar and online collaborative gift shop where community and creativity come together. Approximately 90 percent of our products are made locally in the Hunter and across Australia, and definitely 100% Australian owned.

It is also an ideal destination for tourists who want to own or experience products from the Hunter Region.

My professional background and more than 20 years’ experience in public service impressed upon me the importance and value of the vibrant community around me. Since becoming a mother, my preference for quality and locally sourced items has only increased. Brendon and I would like to teach and set the example for Benjamin that we can actively contribute to our community by supporting and uplifting others.

I myself am a hand-crafter and creator. I also love unique and beautiful things.

We are also the proud owners of The Collab Store’s two other sister brands – Sissu and Hiraya Studio.

You will see me mostly in the store and sometimes on Saturdays, you might see Brendon and Benjamin.

Our commitment is to help local home-based and small businesses grow while providing you, our customers, access to high quality, carefully curated handmade clothes, accessories, homeware, wooden toys, and novelty items ideal for special occasions like baby showers, birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, baby christening, or any life milestone.

We are always on the look-out for new artisans and products to showcase. If you are a local maker, trader or producer and would like to ‘collab’ with us, we would absolutely love to hear from you!
